Do I need a credit card to use Starter?
No. Create an employer account and publish on Starter with no payment. You only enter card details when you choose Growth or Spotlight and complete checkout for that paid listing.
What is the difference between Starter, Growth, and Spotlight?
All three include the same employer tools: job posting, application pipeline, messaging (with pause and close), optional visibility of listing expiry and closing dates, public company profiles, notifications, and CSV exports. Starter is no-cost for the run length on its card. Growth is paid and stays live longer than Starter. Spotlight is the top tier: longest run, homepage featured jobs placement (for the configured duration), a Featured badge on the job page, and first ordering in browse and search. Prices and day counts are on the cards above.
Where do my job postings appear?
Live listings show in job search and on your company's public profile. Spotlight adds eligibility for the homepage featured jobs section (for the plan's configured featured window) and priority ordering in browse and search.
How does Spotlight's homepage placement and Featured badge work?
On Spotlight, your job can appear in the homepage featured jobs section for the number of days configured for that plan (see the Spotlight card and checkout summary). The public job page shows a Featured badge. In browse and search, Spotlight jobs are ordered before Growth and Starter.
Is the homepage featured window always the same length as the full listing?
Not always. Some Spotlight plans use a separate day count for homepage featuring versus the total days the job stays published. The pricing card and checkout screen show both when they differ—always check those numbers before you pay.
Is the charge a one-time fee or a subscription?
One-time per listing when you publish on Growth or Spotlight. There is no monthly employer subscription—you pay at checkout for that posting, not on a recurring bill.
What payment methods are accepted, and in what currency?
Checkout uses Stripe. Major credit and debit cards are accepted; card data is handled by Stripe and not stored on our servers. Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout where Stripe Tax applies—they are not embedded in the list price.
Can I use a promotion or discount code?
If this job board runs a valid promotion, you can enter the code during checkout for Growth or Spotlight. Invalid, expired, or exhausted codes will show an error and will not change the price until a valid code applies.
Is there a limit on how many Starter jobs I can run?
You can have one active Starter (no-cost) listing per company at a time. Growth and Spotlight listings are separate, so you can keep other roles live on paid plans while still using your Starter slot.
Can I manage more than one company from the same employer account?
Yes. Add multiple companies under one login and switch company context when posting or reviewing activity. Permissions and listings are scoped per company.
Can I change my plan after the job is already live?
On a live job, the plan is read-only in Edit posting. To upgrade from Starter: set the job to draft on Manage jobs, pick Growth or Spotlight, complete checkout, then publish again. After a job is live on a paid tier, you cannot switch tiers in place—duplicate the posting, choose the other plan on the copy, check out, then pause or close the old listing if you no longer need it public.
What happens when a listing reaches its end date?
The job stops being shown as an active public listing according to your plan and posting settings. You can publish a new posting (any tier you choose) when you have another role to fill.
Can I close, pause, or end a job before the plan maximum?
Yes. You can pause or close a live posting when hiring ends or you need to take it down early. You can also set a closing date or a listing end date shorter than your plan's maximum when you want the role visible for less time.
Can I edit a job after it is published?
Yes. You can update job details after publish without losing the listing (subject to normal validation). Some fields tied to billing or plan may be limited while the job is live—use draft + republish when upgrading from Starter to a paid tier.
How can job seekers apply to my jobs?
Per job, you choose what to enable: in-platform apply (profile and resume on this site), or email, phone, mailing address, walk-in instructions, or an external application URL. Candidates only see the methods you turn on. In-platform applications appear in your employer dashboard for status updates and messaging—you can pause a thread or close it when that hire is done.
What if something goes wrong with payment or I need help?
