• The job requires visiting various locations in Calgary and surrounding areas (Canmore, Okotoks, Airdrie, and Cochrane). The employer provides transportation.

Salary: $37.50 per hour. Salary increases as per company policy.

Terms and conditions of employment: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week); Overtime, Day, Morning

Job Requirements:

Language: English

Experience: 4 years of related experience

Work Settings: Residential, Commercial, Flooring, Floor coating materials

Working conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Work under pressure, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Manual Dexterity, Standing for extended periods

Chemicals used: Urethanes, Epoxies, Polyurethane, Polyaspartics and Polyurea

Equipment: Personal Protective Equipment (Goggles, masks and gloves) will be provided by the employer

Duties:

• Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete floors

• Apply coating and sealing compounds to concrete and garage floors

• Waterproof, damp-proof, and restore concrete floors

• Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete

• Complete concrete repairs

• Mix the product and apply the concrete coating to the floors

• Complete projects as per company specifications

• Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered

• Inspect and repair damaged flooring
